Color OS is a customized android based on AOSP sources made by oppo for it’s flagship phones and this Color OS 2.0.1 custom ROM for Redmi 2 is an Android KitKat based ROM.

Flashing guide of Color OS custom ROM for Redmi 2:

STEP 1:

Copy the Color OS ROM zip file to your phone

STEP 2:

Reboot your phone into recovery mode.
Or if you have a PC in hand with USB driver installed for your phone then type the following command in a command prompt or shell to enter into recovery mode:

$ adb reboot recovery

STEP 3:

Clear data/cache/dalvik cache and System partition (if present)
This will delete all your data on your phone.
You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup.

STEP 4:

Select the Install Zip from sdcard option.
Select the Color OS ROM zip and wait till the flashing is done.

The flashing may take a while. When it will be done you can reboot your system and enjoy the Color OS custom ROM for Redmi 2, the Android KitKat touch with Oppo’s Color OS.
