For Android lovers winters are always sweetened by Google, as it launches the latest version of Google Android version with its own flagship phones. For other Android users, they are happy to know that they will get the latest version of Android soon. Google had a track record of releasing phones with latest hardware specifications at a cheaper price until the Nexus 6 last year, which was little bit costlier as compared to the others. This year also Google has launched not only one but two Nexus flagship phones: LG made Nexus 5x and Huawei made Nexus 6p with the latest Android Marshmallow version.
Google has partnered with HTC, Samsung, LG, ASUS in the past to build its various Nexus flagship phones and Tablet PCs but this year Huawei, a leading Chinese OEM has also took the responsibility to build a Google Nexus flagship phone along with LG. Huawei has made the Nexus 6p Android phone out of the two phones released this year.
Both the phones Nexus 5x and Nexus 6p have most of the similar features and hardware specifications alongside considerable changes. The Nexus 6p is designed to be a better phone in every aspect as compared to the Nexus 5x.

Comparing Nexus 5x with the last year’s Nexus 6:
If I will compare the Nexus 5x with the Nexus 6 of last year, I can find the following improvements made:
– Improved hexa-core Qualcomm processor
– Improved primary and secondary camera
– Added finger print sensor
I have not taken the upgraded Android version in to account because the Nexus 6 will also be upgraded to the Android Marshmallow in the near future.
On the downside I have found the following things where Google has made a cost cutting with the Nexus 5x:
– System memory (RAM) is reduced to 2GB
– Internal storage is also reduced to 16GB or 32GB variants
– Display size is reduced to 5.2 inch
– Battery capacity is reduced to 2700 mAh
Currently I don’t have the exact price of the Nexus 5x, but on a rough note it will come around Rs. 33,000. So, as per the specifications comparison, the Nexus 5x is really better than the Nexus 6 and from the price point of view too. On the downside I feel like, the battery capacity and internal storage will definitely hurt you in the long run.
There is no point of comparison between the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 6p because every possible aspect (mostly) of the Nexus 6p is leading the last year built Nexus 6 in terms of hardware specifications and added features. As far as the price is concerned the Nexus 6p is priced around Rs. 44,000 which is almost the similar price at which the Nexus 6 was launched.
