HTC with it’s innovation although is not leading the market but is the first to bring so many new stuffs into the market and definitely has made it’s own identity.
Recently there was lots of buzz around for 64-bit Android and Apple, the biggest rival of Android has already brought 64-bit concept a year ago.
Probably the Android L will be bringing 64-bit support to the Android stack but prior to that HTC has brought an entry level budget phone packed with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.

The look and appeal of the device:

It appears to be built on plastic body and has an attractive look overall.

Final words:

All of the hardware specifications of this phone are more or less matching with the exception of 64-bit hardware support is not there and a HD display is there in the Moto G.
Recently launched ASUS Zenfone 4 A450CG I believe all of the features are equal to HTC Desire 510 with some differences like 8MP and battery capacity and 64-bit.
Even you have an option of ASUS Zenfone 5.

I believe this will come a little bit costlier as compare to all of those compared here but none of them gives you 64-bit support.
So you still have a some more options to consider if you think it will be costlier for you.
Yes there will be definitely some advantages on the 64-bit processor over the legacy 32-bit processors.
