Intex has recently launched a new budget Aqua-series smartphone, the Aqua Extreme 2 which is available to buy from online retailers priced at Rs. 9,590.

Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies during the launch, said:

Key hardware specifications of Intex Aqua Xtreme 2:

  • The Intex Aqua Xtreme 2 measures 140×71.9×7.9mm; weighs 132 grams, and will be available in White, Black, Champagne and Silver colors
  • It comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display
  • The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM
  • Comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box
  • It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB)
  • It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while the secondary camera is a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera
  • On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Extreme II offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, FM radio and Bluetooth options
  • The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery, rated to deliver talk time of 8 hours along with a standby time of 300 hours
