Earlier it has been rumored that the Galaxy S7 and its variants will come with both Exynos as well as Snapdragon processors. The Snapdragon 820 processor variant of the S7 has made several appearances before and now the Exynos variant of the S7 has been confirmed.
The new listing on AnTuTu shows a Galaxy S7 powered by the Exynos 8890 processor which has 4GB of RAM, 64GB ROM. The other details are same as the previous SnapDragon 820 variant: screen is a 5.1 inch 1440p display, the primary camera resolution is 12 Megapixel which has a new BRITECELL sensor that offers much better quality and improved low light performance and a 5 Megapixel sensor up front as well.
The Exynos 8890 is more or less on the same league as the Snapdragon 820 and as a result we expect a similar performance from it when compared to the Snapdragon 820. The listing doesn’t reveal any scores yet but it would be rally interesting to see the performance benchmark values.
The Galaxy S7 along with the S7 edge and S7 edge+ which we reported earlier are expected to make an appearance during MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. There might also be a Galaxy S7 + which is expected to be a larger screen variant of the regular S7. It is also reported that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to be waterproof, will have microSD card and bigger batteries.
