Although it’s not the first of its kind but it is really good to see that Indian brands are taking part in all available dimensions to maintain their sustainability in the very competitive mobile phone market of this era.
As far as I remember Sony was the first to introduce an Android for gaming freaks, the Xperia Play.
Xperia Play was featured with a Qualcomm Snapdragon single core 1 GHz processor.
But things has been changed a lot since then.
Now we have upto eight cores in our hand held devices.
With this advantage, Xolo has introduced a new Android phone designed a Gaming on the Go device for Gamers.
It boasts a 6-core, 2GB RAM mobile phone at a price of just INR 14,499/-, which is roughly 250 USD.
I mean this looks really amazing.

This phone packs a Mediatek MT6591 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz and Mali 450 GPU core clocked at 600 MHz.
This was not the first phone to pack this hexa core chipset, rather I think The Karbonn Titanium Hexa was the one to pack it first.
It has 2 GB RAM packed and the default Android UI.
Value addition features:

Loaded with Exclusive Xolo Play Zone that lets you choose from an extensive collection of high quality HD games, download for free and you can also buy the paid games at a 75% of discount.

Some points to be noted before the end of this post:
For me it really does not look to be made for Gaming because the MTK(Mediatek) chipsets are really not comparable to those Qualcomm Snapdragons in performance.
This is just a marketing strategy to attract the customers by packing a Mediatek processor and offering it at a lower price.
I would like to make a conclusion here that the Karbonn Titanium Hexa also comes with the same chipset and some more features like a 13MP camera and a 1080p resolution display hence a decent 401ppi pixel density.
With the same chipset, almost the same price and a small but noticeable feature differences you have to choose which is a better option.
Simultaneously you have to see the quality of service provided by both the manufacturers.
